Over 185 children currently attend our youth group.
At our Hassanian Seasonal School, we aim to teach young people to be good citizens of Australia through giving them education about Australian culture, laws and way of life.

We also teach them Afghan language and culture, help them with homework and assignments and organise sporting and recreational activities.

Our main aim is to further educate and develop our children and youth in educational, moral and cultural aspects to assist their more productive future growth and better settlement in their adopted homeland.

We hope that by doing so and by them gaining better practical and theoretical knowledge and capabilities, they have a better chance of enjoying their material and moral qualities of life. We hope that they feel strongly as part of the society they live in and become positive contributors to their society.

Dari-language school students love learning. They are keen to be part of Australia whilst also maintaining their Dari language and learning about their and their parents' culture, religion and history.

Our youth programs help our kids stay focused on their education and to give them better life skills to use in they society they live in.

We reward the children's good behaviour with excursions and outings. They get to go to the movies, we hold barbeques where the kids get to play and experience social settings and we also encourage them to be involved in sport activities, ie: soccer, swimming and cricket.

The teaching staff consists of a number of caring teachers and some other academic and distinguished community figures. As well as the children we have gatherings for the mothers of the families that come to us for assistance.
