Who We Are
Australian Afghan Hassanian Youth Association Inc. was established on 1st March 2006 to support Afghan children and young people and other new arrivals in their settlement in Australia.

There are many programs that AAHYA are currently utilising, and we hope for many more to be put into action in the future.

Make Donations
There are a lot of ways you can help Afghan women and children and other new arrivals in need. One of the easiest and most effective is to donate money. All donations to Australian Afghan Hassanian Youth Association are used to support the efforts of our association.

Orphan Sponsorship Form (pdf)
If you wish to sponsor an orphan, please download our Sponsorship Form and select from 3 months, 6 months or 12 months.

Youth Development (Groups)
Over 185 children currently attend our youth group. At our Hassanian Seasonal School, we aim to teach young people to be good citizens of Australia through giving them education about Australian culture, laws and way of life.

Empowering Women
AAHYA aim to empower the women through English language classes, information sessions, driving lessons and leadership training. We believe these programs we make available for them will bring them out into society, become more active and maybe even offer any skills they may have to Australia.

AAHYA Casework
AAAHYA is able to help people in severe financial difficulties through administration of the following financial aid programs: EAPA, TBA and PAS.

Volunteer
We are always open to having volunteers join our organisation. The more hands we have, the better the quality of the programs and more dedicated time we will have to give to the community.
